MARION, Ill. – It was a great day at the ballpark as hundreds turned out for the 2nd annual Take Me Out to the Car Show! The June 10th show featured approximately 150 cars, trucks and motorcycles competing for the top prizes. Vendors, live music and food trucks also kept guests entertained throughout the day. Proceeds from this year’s event went to the Gary Sinise Foundation whose mission is to “serve our nation by honoring our defenders, veterans, first responders, their families and those in need.” Bryan Anderson, a representative for the foundation, was on hand to share his story and accept a check for $5,000 from the team at Interstate Tire Pros Auto Service. “We’re so happy that we could support a wonderful organization like the Gary Sinise Foundation. We just want to thank our sponsors and everyone who came out for the show for helping make it possible,” said Shawn Hughes, president of Interstate Tire Pros Auto Service.
