MARION, Ill.– Interstate Tire Pros Auto Service is pleased to announce the 4th annual Take Me Out to the Car Show is set for Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Mtn Dew Park in Marion. Since its inception, Take Me Out to the Car Show has drawn hundreds of registered participants from across southern Illinois and surrounding states. “It’s been great! The community has really gotten behind the show and helped it grow. It just wouldn’t be the same without our supporters,” said Shawn Hughes, president of Interstate Tire Pros Auto Service. In addition to the cars, trucks, and bikes on display, this year’s event will also feature the return of fan favorites such as food trucks, a craft vendor fair, and a burnout contest. The burnout contest will be open to licensed drivers over the age of 18. A $10 donation, signed waiver, and proof of insurance will be required. “The burnouts were a big hit last year! We’d love to see the winners come out and try to defend their titles against all the newcomers gunning for a trophy,” explained Hughes. The 4th annual Take Me Out to the Car Show runs 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, June 7 and is free to attend. For those who wish to register a vehicle in the show, the cost is $15 before June 5 or $20 on the day of the event. Registration will close at noon on June 7 to allow for judging. Awards will be presented at 1:30 p.m. Proceeds from this year’s event will go to support the Ainad Shriners/Williamson County Shrine Club Road Runners unit, which provides free transportation to medical appointments for children across southern Illinois, and the Gary Sinise Foundation, which offers unique programs for veterans, service members, first responders and their families.
